Course Objectives

The core objectives of the Teacher Training / Erasmus + Programme are to teach you how to teach in the English language. We will guide you through the necessary learning so that you will be able to apply a vocabulary that can be transferred to whatever the subject you teach may be.

  • You will improve your own English pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar skills.
  • You will be able to deliver CLIL lessons to your students in whatever the subject you're teaching may be.
  • We will empower you and provide you with interesting tips on how to motivate your students.
  • Source and adapt material to suit the CLIL syllabi.
  • Be able to give instructions and organise both classroom and playground activities.
  • Understand grammar & vocabulary found in the English material used in class.

Course Content

Upon enrollment of the Teacher Training / Erasmus + programme, you will explore the principles behind Content and Language Integrated learning (CLIL) and improve your English language skills so that you will be able to teach through the language.

Our staff will equip you and to extension your students with both the confidence and skills needed to deliver a broad range of CLIL-based activities inside and outside the classroom.

You will gain an understanding of how to combine language and subject teaching within a practical lesson framework. Explore a wide variety of practical tasks and activities which can be put to immediate use in the classroom.
